Creating Profitable PPC Campaigns With Prosper202

Most PPC campaigns have only a limited amount of keywords that really convert into sales. Removing any non-converting keywords is an essential part of optimizing your campaigns and achieving them profitable. How do we figure out which keywords are converting in your case? That is where Prosper202 also comes in.

Prosper202 is a free, real-time PPC tracking software with the folks of Tracking202. It can be self-hosted, which means that you will need to install it on your own server. If you are planning on sending a big volume of clicks through Prosper202, then I would make sure you put in it on a VPS or perhaps your own dedicated server.

When you have everything installed, you are going to first want to setup your campaigns. Within the setup tab, there's a submenu that displays the different setup steps. You may first need to add in your PPC accounts (ie. Pay per click, MSN Adcenter, etc) and after that input any affiliate networks you're using (Hydra, NeverblueAds, etc).

Next, you will want to add in the required info to the particular offer you want to send traffic to. The important step here is to go in the correct affiliate url. You will get this from the affiliate network you might be currently using. Make absolutely certain to include the subid parameter in the url so Prosper202 can send across the subids correctly.

You also have an opportunity here of cloaking your tracking link. You should normally do this because you never want anyone to see where your traffic is coming from. Your affiliate manager can figure this out by just checking your referrer. By cloaking your link, the referrer can have up as the domain name of where you installed Prosper202 on, rather than the landing page itself.

For PPC campaigns, it is possible to normally direct link to an offer, or send visitors to a landing page. If you utilize a landing page, then you will need to put it in at the same time. Once you have done that, you will definately get a snippet of javascript to position onto your landing page. You'll have to change any links in your offer to the one the Prosper202 offers you as well.

Once this is all setup, you'll be able to retrieve the links you may use. These will be input in the PPC platform that you're using. Make sure to incorporate the extra keyword parameter should your PPC platform requires it. This will likely enable Prosper202 to track the keyword of a particular click. Prosper202 Alternative

If you need to have real-time tracking from the leads you receive, you will probably need to give the global tracking pixel that Prosper202 will give you to your affiliate manager. They should install it on the offer's confirmation page and if you get a lead, the pixel will fire and will also notify Prosper and update the stats. It becomes an optional step, but if you don't do this you will ought to manually enter in the converting subids into prosper202 yourself.

After you have gotten everything setup, Prosper202 will handle the remaining. You can see your clicks and conversions in real-time while using the Spy View, and you can see all the individual stats per campaign in the overview page. Anyone can figure out exactly which keywords are resulting in sales and those are not. By having this info at your fingertips, you can remove those non converting keywords and commence getting your PPC campaign profitable.
